Welcome to the website of the Omaha Cricket Clubs. We are starting this league to setup Cricket games and tournaments. The league is open to all people in the Millard district of Omaha. There are no fees to join, all you need to do is contact Nick at Nicks1225@gmail.com. Teams should have rosters of atleast 2 players.

What is Cricket?!

What is Cricket? That's a good question. Cricket, while not well-known in America is a team-based game played the world over. It is similar to baseball in a few ways. A bat is used and running scores points, each team has a variation of a pitcher (called the Bowler) and a catcher. We have made our own variation of Cricket that is fun and easy to play and requires as little as 3 active players per team. Our 'Street Cricket' is becoming popular quickly and we are trying to spread it out into an actual league. So if you haven't tried our cricket, check out the rules section and give it a shot.

2008 SEASON TEAM APPLICATIONS BEING ACCEPTED NOW!

Please send e-mails with team names, info and roster to Nicks1225@gmail.com . No teams from 2006 or 2007 will carry over, teams will be completely revamped this year.

Coming Soon: 2008 Season

Season will start as soon as weather cooperates... games will be played on Fridays, weekends, and Millard School cancellation days.

First Tournament To Be Played in '08

The OCC will host it's first ever full fledged tournament. Format will be announced at a later date, but expect a 3-7 game championship series. Tournament will take place in late July - early August.

Roster Realignment!

Due to increase in players, all rosters will be realigned, teams reassigned and renamed.... Cricket returns in 2008
